10 International Human Rights Day and ICHRP PNW Launch

PortlandCHRP - Portland Committee for Human Rights in the Philippinesalong with PUSO Seattle and People Organizing for Philippine Solidarity - POPS (a part of Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ)) are excited to announce that this year's international human rights day celebrations will be a launching of a new alliance! 

Join us on December 10 (d10) as member organizations of the International Coalition for Human RIghts in the Philippines,-Pacific North West (ICHRP PNW) will be hosting a concert and people's forum to officially launch this new solidarity formation.

INTERCONNECTIONS Exhibition Reception

 

Hey Everyone,

I'm finally getting ready to enter the real world. This means my graduation show is quickly approaching.

Come check out my senior exhibition at the Frostic School of Art from Feb 16 - 20. 

And that's not all! This time around I am lucky enough to be paired with the talented Sarah Mueller and her work is something you certainly won't want to miss!

The reception will take place on Feb 20th from 5 - 8 pm in the Eleanor R. and Robert DeVries Student Gallery. Like usual there will be food, hopefully some music, some great art, and fantastic people.

Arthur in studio 219 at January's Art Hop

The Park Trades Center is a city block, four story building that consists of over 95 artist and artisan studios, and has over 150 artists working in the building in a given week. Our artists work in a plethora of media. We house Western Michigan University faculty, Kalamazoo College faculty and students, the West Michigan Glass Art Center, the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center, many artists collaboratives and collectives, and a variety of individual artists and artisans. This truly unique community opens every first Friday of the month during Kalamazoo's Art Hop.

Join Arthur in his studio Friday, Jan 9th from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. There will be snacks, music, artwork, and prints for sale.

Arthur Braud at Studio 219 during Kalamazoo's Art Hop

Over 50 art studios will open their doors to the public for our largest open studio event of the year. Join us for live printmaking, glassblowing, painting, and wheel throwing demonstrations. Hear live music, enjoy refreshments, see inside working artists' studios, and browse four floors of art. This is an Open Studio @ the Park Trades Center, you should not miss!

Arthur's Artwork at Fourth Coast

Check Out Arthur Braud's work in downtown Kalamazoo. Located below Crow's Nest on Westnedge, Fourth Coast features a relaxing environment filled with's music, food, and coffee. For the months October and November, 16 original Arthur Braud watercolor paintings will be up on display. Make sure to check them out!
